Summit 2007

The Summit took place November 13-14, 2007 and brought together educators from across the state to address the major crisis facing public schools in California and throughout the nation: the systemic gap between our highest- and lowest - performing students.

Below you can download the Summit Program, find more information about the keynote and featured speakers, and review details about the breakout sessions.

Conference Presentations and Materials

The Presentation Summaries include summaries of a sampling of breakout sessions at the Achievement Gap Summit. Because there were 122 sessions, it was not possible to include information from each session. However, the Breakout Presentations information provides brief overviews of all the sessions, taken from the printed Summit program. You may view and listen to audio and video files from several of the keynote presentations and from the P-16 Committee sessions from the individual speaker and presentation pages.
