Summary or Abstract: California's diverse student population cannot be served with a one-size-fits-all model. Students come to school with different learning needs that require different levels of resources to help prepare them for college and careers. This report discusses three priorities for educating all students in California: Strengthen Teaching and Leadership; Ensure Fair Funding that Rewards Results; and Streamline Governance and Award Accountability. The authors conclude with suggestions to create a foundation for continuous improvement to prepare our children for success from the earliest age.
